The State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) Hawaii Technical Assistance (TA) Program is here to help! Our program provides critical support to help businesses navigate funding opportunities and enhance their operations for long-term success.

As outlined by April 2022 SSBCI TA Guidelines an Eligible Business is defined as follows:
What We Offer
Eligible legal, accounting, and financial advisory services are available under this TA Program. Examples of services within these categories includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Legal Services
- Assisting with business formation and governance documents.
- Obtaining required registrations, licenses, filings, and certifications.
- Advising on and preparing contracts.
- Legal services related to obtaining capital, including financial instruments, investment term sheets, and shareholder agreements.
- Supporting ownership transfers, such as employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs).
Accounting Services
- Preparing audits, financial statements, and business records.
- Digitizing financial records.
- Advisory services or training on accounting practices and software.
Financial Advisory Services
- Establishing banking relationships or other financial services.
- Assisting with applications for government small business programs, including financial analyses.
- Identifying credit, capital, grants, and financing sources.
- Advising on financial management and access to financing.
- Developing presentations, financial models, and business plans.
