This info session will cover information about the Federal SBIR/STTR grant program (America’s Seed Fund), who qualifies and its purpose, as well as Hawaii’s matching grant program.
The Hawaii SBIR Program (HSBIR) is administered by HTDC and provides state matching grants to help Hawaii companies that have been awarded Phase I federal SBIR/STTRs, to further the development of new products to solve critical national challenges.
About the program:
- Applicants must have received federal SBIR/STTR grants/contracts to qualify
- Offers up to 50% match of federal award, up to $75K for Phase I awards and up to 50% of Phase II and III awards, up to a maximum of $500,000.
- Able to apply for up to $3k reimbursement for grant writing costs for your first grant application
- Applications open on October 25, 2024 and close on December 6, 2025
