Partnering with government is key to Hawaii’s future. Hear from key stakeholders about their industry’s kuleana and how they’re collaborating with government to move Hawaii’s economy forward.

Join HVCA and Funder Hui on August 15th from 8-10am at Ka Waiwai for a “Public Investment in our Economic Future,” a breakfast panel exploring the crucial role of public investment in driving Hawaii’s economic growth and sustainability. Hear from our state leaders on the current strategies and initiatives that are growing our local economy.

  • Amy Asselbaye, Executive Director, City & County of Honolulu’s Office of Economic Revitalization
  • Senator Donovan Dela Cruz, Chair of Ways & Means Committee, Hawaiʻi State Senate
  • Jimmy Tokioka, Director, State of Hawaiʻi Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism (DBEDT)
  • Stacy Kealohalani Ferreira, CEO, Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA)

Program:

  • Doors open at 8:00am for Coffee & Breakfast.
  • Panel Discussion begins at 8:30am.
  • Event Pau at 10am

Tickets are $45 and cover the event, along with breakfast and coffee. Space is limited so please reserve your seats as soon as possible.

  • There is a paid parking lot on site at Ka Waiwai. Follow signs to pay when you arrive. Street parking is also available on surrounding streets.
