Event parking is located at the entrance of Lot C off of Ilalo Street. Please park in the white stalls at the entrance of Lot C. Payment information is available on signage within the lot. Please contact Secure Parking for any parking questions. MAP OF PARKING. Meter parking is also available along Iallo street.

Steven Sung
Department Human Resources Officer, Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism

Steven Sung has been active in the Human Resources field for over 20 years in both the private and public sectors. These industries include healthcare, financial, and currently the state government. He has been in Human Resources Management for over 15 years, leading positive changes in the organization.

Sandra Fujiyama
Executive Director, PACE, UH Mānoa Shidler College of Business

Sandra is the Executive Director of PACE at the UH Mānoa Shidler College of Business, where she oversees entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives at UH, helping students gain hands-on experience to enhance their problem-solving skills and boost their careers. Before joining UH, Sandra spent 15 years in intellectual property law, assisting startups with patents, trademarks, and business growth. She is also dedicated to community service, having served on various boards supporting diversity, education, and innovation.

Rona Fukumoto
President and CEO, Lanakila Pacific

Rona Yagi Fukumoto is a leader with more than 25 years of experience in social service management and is currently President and CEO of Lanakila Pacific. Prior to joining Lanakila Pacific, Rona served as the division administrator for Catholic Charities Hawaii’s Housing Assistance and Referral Programs, and the nonprofit’s Director of Intake, Information and Referral, an experience she credits for building a broad understanding of resources and nonprofit partners in Hawaii. Rona is a member of the Workforce Development Council, Career and Technical Education Coordinating Advisory Council, Hawaii Access to Justice Commission, Hawaii Foodbank board of directors, and Project Dana’s advisory council. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in public administration from UH Mānoa.

Christine Beaule
Director of Workforce Development, University of Hawaii System

Christine Beaule is the Director of Workforce Development for the University of Hawaii System. In this role, she works on academic pathways and finds creative solutions to help meet workforce shortages across our state. She also leads initiatives to bolster students’ career readiness and to bring work-based learning opportunities such as internships to more UH students. She is also a Professor of Latin American and Iberian Studies at UH Mānoa; trained as an archaeologist, she specializes in colonialism and its impacts on Indigenous peoples.

Work for Warriors Hawaii Team

Hawaii National Guard’s Work for Warriors Hawaii Employment Coordinators educate, assist, and support clients throughout their professional careers in Hawaii. They provide resume development, career progression and opportunities, referral services, interview techniques, and employment resources. All Employment Coordinators are Certified Federal Job Search Trainers and Federal Career Coaches through The Resume Place. Combined, they have over 50 years of experience helping individuals and groups with career services throughout the State.

Cheryl Cross
Executive Search Consultant, Inkinen Executive Search

Cheryl Cross is the career transition lead and an executive search consultant at Inkinen Executive Search in Honolulu. She serves the State of Hawaii as an executive board member for the Workforce Development Council. Cheryl has 20+ years of recruiting and HR experience for Fortune 10- 500 corporations, medium to small businesses and non-profit organizations, and is a bestselling author on military to civilian career transition. Cheryl is dedicated to helping all individuals—especially military professionals and spouses—navigate career transitions in Hawaii and secure opportunities in tech, engineering, and defense.
